I am all for families doing things together as long as they are considerate of others. There was no consideration shown to the other shoppers and an overall entitled attitude displayed when I said, "Excuse me." and tried to get on the escalator and then another dirty look given by at least three family members when i tried to access a bathroom with my toddler and they were blocking the door. I was smiling and cordial in both instances and this is how it was received.

Ugh, I hate the oversized-waaaaaay past the crotch-falling-down pants "fashion". I mean, WHY THE FOAM is that "cool"?

Sorry but my take,
We are complaining how today we don't do enough as a family, separated from each other, and kids end up doing bad things.
Now here are families shopping together and most likely a good example on the children. Not to mention the older ones are getting out and spending family time.

Now we also complain about everything being so rush rush today. So all of a sudden we don't have enough patience to wait what, an extra minute (MAYBE), so you MIGHT HAVE been delayed 4 minutes total in your mall shopping experience?
Maybe your life is just wound way to tight if those 4 minutes are going to stress you out.

@FoFa:

Maybe it's not...there are so many rude kids and adults these days...I don't want to have to take a detour in a store because you're wrestling with your screeching kid and I don't want to have to doge teens who are walking in groups, gabbing and not watching or teens (and adults) ambling along with their eyes glued to a device..

Doesnt it seem like the older people get the more everything irratates the hell out of them. The one thing my mom does now that shes older is stands there and checks the reciept after we pay to make sure she wasn't over charged. So embarrasing.

I really, really prefer shopping at The Woodlands Mall or my favorite- Memorial City, but Deerbrook, or any mall, really doesn't' bother me. I don't care how people dress. I go, get what I want/ need/ came to look for, & go. I generally don't go at night though. During the daytime isn't bad but at night at Deerbrook is when teenage hoodlums meet up with their friends, yell at one another from across the mall, shout obscenities & just get loud & rude. I've noticed that usually happens solely at night & is worse on weekends. The daytime at Deerbrook I don't mind at all though.

@Heathur:

I prefer the Woodlands or Memorial City as well, just don't like the drive out there.
The Woodlands has so many nice choices for shopping.  I like the outdoor shopping areas a lot.

I go to the Woodlands for Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Williams & Sonoma, Janie & Jack and White House Black Market.  The indoor stores aren't much different than what we have at Deerbrook.  I wish we could get some of those stores to go into Kings Harbor.

@Horsemagic:

It's not cool

@rmille34:

It's not just not cool it's not cool X 10000 And then some people take it all the way with the oversized shirt, backwards ball cap and big neck chain, which has been done to death.

@Horsemagic:

I wanna just trip em up and piss them off then watch them try and get up and run after me while they're untangling themselves from the oversized shirt, pants too low and the chain that's now stuck somewhere around their armpit... im halfway across the mall laughing maniacally and they'll still be like HOMIE HELP A BRUHTHA UP YO!
