I have an alarm, and Great Pyr.s ears are super sensitive, and their bark is great. Don't have to wait for them to actually break in that way. A good offence makes a good deterrence. Isn't that what President Reagan said?
never was afraid of anything till 1963 , I had my daughter in my arms & was wading out into the ocean in Virginia Beach , I was about knee deep in water when the lifeguard stated blowing his horn & yelling "out of the water , SHARK!" , I look out to see what he is yelling about & there not 10 feet from me was a large fin slicing thru the water coming right at us . I have no idea how I managed to get to the beach & not get bitten . But I did , ever since then I will not go into the ocean , pools , okay , anything else ..NO WAY .
@WJo: In a situation like this, I would release my "defensive field". It creates this muddled, brown area that smells real bad all around me and tends to keep things away.
Flying........and I may be flying out to my parent's house for Thanksgiving......Xanex, here I come!! I mean, my heart starts pounding just thinking about it....ugh....OH, and I don't know why - I used to fly frequently, afterall, I lived in Germany for a while....
