For all you do lovers/rescuers.

The last two mornings, I have seen a black/brown dachshund / chihuahua mix on Northpark by the Krogers running ON the street. Yesterday, it was on the road running westbound as I was going to work around 0700.

This mornng, it was running eastbound around 0650 as I was coming back from the gym.

It was looking frantic. I tried to whistle to it to get it in my car (don't kow what the hell I would have done with him) but it freaked out and ran into the underbrush in the median.

I saw the same dog running in the drainage ditch on Mills Branch yesterday and the day before.  I tried catching him both days but he wouldn't even get near me.  The more I tried getting him in my car, the faster he ran!  Poor baby.

I saw that puppy yesterday morning on my way to work.  I turned around and tried to get him but by the time I made my way back to were I saw him, he was gone.  I have worried about that little pup ever since.  I looked for him on my way home last night and again this morning but no luck.  I really hope someone catches him before he gets hit by a car.

@SeeVee:

This dog always does this there is normally a black lab with it. I saw them in the same area before and my fiance tried to catch them. My friend who lives in the neighborhood next to Krogers said they always run around the area, the owners just let them or they run away all the time.
