I am looking for a simple baby girl craft project to try. I am not very crafty so it must be easy to do and not require a sewing machine. I have a lot of free time on my hands and am getting bored at home. Any ideas? 4951
I made a sign for the door of the nursery.  Bought the stuff at Hobby Lobby...  It just simply said Nursery.. turned out really cute.. You can use the babys name.. I used Wood letter and painted them..  Or your would make a wreath.. 4951
N+T: Sorry I have not been following the message boards closely. Were you expecting or was this a gift for someone else? Anyways, I thought if you are really bored then you could make a custom clock. Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and other craft stores have the parts for this kind of thing. but where the numbers normally are, you could put cutouts so when the baby turns 1 then you put a pic, then 2 you put the second pic, and so on. I have not thought out this project entirely but it depends on what materials you'd want to use like wood or heavy cardboards.just saw the alphabet idea. thats a good one to do too!you might try looking at classifieds for a used cricut or silhouette cutting machine too for endless craft ideas. 4951

We mod podged some wood letters with scrapbook paper at a baby shower and they turned out really cute. It was really easy too.  One of the hosts ordered the letters of Ebay and I think they were 2-2.50 each. We then traced them onto the scrapbook paper and then adhered them to the letters with mod podge and then mod podged over the whole thing 4951
