I keep seeing the previews to this movie and it looks to be okay but I ask: Will there be dogs in this show??? I don't see any in the previews. If they guy goes half way around the world to work at a kennel - there has to be dogs, right?! There'd better be some dogs!!
U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive-a photograph he found of a woman he doesn't even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
I just got home from seeing this. I had no idea it was a very dog focused movie, the main dude even has an awesome GSD(yay!) that is always at his side when he returns from war. Great chick flick, predictable at times and a little cheesy but I think he did a great job and played his character part well. The main chick didn't look right with him though, she also looked a little old for him. All in all I enjoyed it. There is an Anatolian shepherd in it!
Why is it creepy? I thought it was very neat, especially because there is more to the story of how he came to stumble upon the photo that you have to see in the movie. I'm pretty much a huge believer in fate now so I enjoyed the movie. Plus the guy was a total gentleman in the movie and he helped out their kennel so much, nothing creepy about him.
