1. Choking Game2. Cinnamon Challenge3. Huffing or Dusting4. Car "Surfing"5. Mumblety Peg6. Chubby Bunny7. The ABC Scratching GameTeens frequently keep details about these games under wraps. Parents often don't hear about them until someone in the community is rushed to the emergency room or dies.Boys and girls both participate, to some degree."Boys tend to take more risks, as do teens in middle school, although kids of any age may try," says Jennifer Shu, MD, an Atlanta pediatrician. "They usually happen in groups, where there is peer pressure." 4951

I had to google most of these. I don't really see how the cinnamon challenge (seeing if you can swallow a tablespoon of cinnamon) or chubby bunny (putting marshmallows in your mouth & saying "chubby bunny" until you pronounce it clearly or spit out the marshmallows) could be considered dangerous. I mean they're all dumb, but those two don't seem dangerous. 4951

At least 2 people have died as a result of choking on the marshmallows during Chubby Bunny. One, a 12 year old and another, a 32 year old.

I had to look up the ABC scratching game...the article I read said that one kid almost died as a result of an infection/flesh-eating bacteria from the scratching and had several surgeries to save her life and her hand.

Some kids are really dumb.  4951

@Heathur: And that's where it gets you, it sucks you in seeming innocent, than, WHAM! You in the emergency room.

Wow...I can't think of anything that dumb we did when we were younger, of then again, maybe I just didn't hang out with a bunch of idiots.  The dumbest thing we did was use these little stupid plastic suction cup toy things to give ourselves "hickeys".  I actually didn't do it, but some of my friends did.  SO dumb, but not enough to kill us! 4951

@Zephard: Didn't have correction fluid when I was in HS.
But those mimeograph pages did have a nice smell, just don't think you get a buzz off of them. 4951
