A couple weeks ago we saw a cat with a pretty fresh leg injury limping across the street in front of us, the accident might've just happened in fact I'm not sure. The cat ran off behind some bushes though. It was wearing a collar with a bell so I figured it would go home and its owner would take care of it.
I saw it again this morning at the exact same place and it limped out across the road in front of cars but luckily was not hit. But the leg looks very bad now, not touching the ground, very stiff and atrophied. Again it ran off behind those bushes. Is there some rescue group that catches and vets cats like all the dog posts I see? 4951

Awe, the poor thing. He does need to get that leg treated asap. Holding it up like that is a bad sign. I hope someone can get to it...but be careful, injured cats can be demonic. I had one attach itself to the back of my thigh with it's claws dug in very deep...horrible experience and lots of antibiotics. And cat bites are worse, so be careful. 4951

Sand Creek, corner of Willow Terrace and Sycamore Creek Dr. The trail is right there, there's a lot of woods for that cat to hide in. I would think a live trap would be a good idea.

It's very light tan and white.

Keep me updated I'd love to try and help catch it we live close by. Or if it needs a foster while recovering I've got an extra room. 4951

@N+T:
Haven't seen any sign of it unfortunately. It was two weeks between when I first saw it and this last time. :/ Are there any cat rescue groups who might come out with traps and try to get it? 4951

My cat broke his leg a few weeks ago. He had to stay home and heal for a few weeks. He still has a slight limp but vet says he's okay now. Yellow and white fur. We let him out for a few hours each day because he's crazy. He will meow for 6 hours straight...knowing he is annoying...until we let him outside.

We've had this cat for 11 years. He's very demanding and stubborn.

So please don't call animal rescue if its my cat you are seeing. 4951
