Does there come a time in the 3rd trimester where you can't reach down to tie your workout shoes anymore?
I have noticed it gets a little more uncomfortable each month to tie my shoes. of course , it doesnt help that i had a little belly before i got pregnant. Now, i have baby bump and belly fat. I am thinking by my 3rd trimester i am going to be wearing a lot of flip flops or crocs.
You're still working out? Awesome! I pretty much stopped as soon as I knew I was preggo, I guess I just used it as an excuse to be lazy and read and do other things...especially afternoon naps after work! I just hit the gym really hard a few weeks after popping the kid out. It took a few months to get the baby weight off. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I am still working at it.
Also, it was about the 3rd trimester that I stopped shaving, stopped painting the toe-nails, and stopped giving a crap. I was lucky that I was preggo in the winter/early spring, so I got to wear long pants without suffering too much. If I had to wear shorts, I would have found a way to shave.
Have your dogs changed the way they act around you? I noticed that my dogs become more protective and clingy around me when I am with child.
I still work out, actually I really started working out when I found out I was pregnant. I haven't gained any weight yet. Even though my belly is sticky out much more.
I planned on loosing weight before I got pregnant, but God had other plans.
It was hard in the first trimester to workout for a long time, cause it would make me nauseated. Now I can do an hour cardio without problems. I haven't done any weights, just cardio.
They will also probably be naturally protective towards the baby too. The Newfie basically guards our daughter, it's really cute. She must have caught on to how much the dog loves her because her first word (besides mama and dada) was doggie!
by my 6th month I could not reach my toes at all , by my 8th month I gave up shaving my legs & went to having them waxed . At the end of my 8th month I began to waddle instead of walk (LOL) , by the 9th month I just wanted to deliver & get it over with . I felt like I had a cannonball pulling me forward & down all the time (LOL). If you need help doing anything at all just ask & I will do what I can ( lot's of experience ) (LOL)
HAHAHA! I remember those days. I loved it and hated it at the same time. you have a couple of choices, a) go shoeless at all times, b) get your man to tie your shoes or c) invest in a good pair of slip ons, i.e. Toms. good luck to you!
I remember when I was 7 months I could hardly walk my husband pushed me in a wheel chair all over the rodeo.. I could hardly walk I was huge and feet were huge flip flops and slippers all the time.. My husband painted my toe nails all.the time.
I was pg w/ twins all summer and delivered my kiddos at 36 wks in August of '07. Let me tell you it was pretty much hell being pg w/ twins in the summer. I was begging my ob to GET THEM OUT at about 32 weeks or so - LOL! I wore flip flops a lot and crocs (that is what I recommend). I want to pass the word as often as possible that I fell while I was pregnant, probably 26 wks or so, I was wearing flip flops and it had just started raining. The ground was slick and I was supposed to be on bed rest, one trip to the grocery store .... yea ended up in the hospital overnight w/ monitoring and a sprained wrist. OUCH! I also got a lot of slip on shoes - with a lot of traction!! I bought some slip on tennis shoes at walmart towards the end b/c nothing fit. My dog never barked before we had the kids - he became a totally different dog when they were born. He never left my side when I was pregnant, the babies would kick him b/c he would lay right next to the belly. That was always fun to watch. I wish you the best of luck ! And as far as toe nail painting and shaving .... good luck w/ that too! I couldn't see my feet after about 20wks or so. I had people come up to me all the time asking me if I was ready to deliver at about 3 months, I was HUGE, my not so sweet response of NO I HAVE 6 MONTHS TO GO, always threw people off. B/c I was supposed to be on bedrest from day one, I rode in a wheel chair everywhere I went, I hope you don't have to go through that. Stay safe & cool !! Congrats !!
