Scratching the Arts festival off the list. Didn't see anything on the festival website that seemed interesting. I had just heard from friends it was a good festival. But those friends are my party friends. They like any excuse to drink. 4951

you can forget the garage sales too, I went to 2 on Friday & the stuff they had for sale I would have put in the trash , it wasn't worth even sitting it on the curb . This one advertized a "multi-family " sale & so I went early & all they had was some furniture in the house & some picture frames , the furniture wasn't in that good of condition either.

Then the other one was just pure junk ! rusted racks & an old patio umbrella . I gave up & went home. I went to a really good estate sale last Friday & it was so good I took hubby & went back on Saturday . That one cost us alot of $$ .....

I might be too pickie but some of the stuff I see in garages sales I would be ashamed to  put out in public. But that's just me.....let me know if you find any garage sales worth going to ... 4951

I agree the garage sales were a bust today.  We ended up with beignets and working in the garden.I should have known it was a bust when the first one was listed in KYS but they were not having one. LOL 4951

I was up most of the night with back and bladder pain. I didn't make any garage sales. I figure all the decent stuff is gone by now. 4951

I actually went to a minor ER cause I was in so much pain. They said I didn't have a UTI or Kidney infection. They said just pregnancy pains and it will get worse not better. This sucks! Never doing the prego thing again. 4951

Mills Branch is having a garage sale next week end. They normaly have some really good stuff, but you would want to get there kind of early, like between 8-9:30 so you can have a look and deside. 4951

Be sure to hit up the Eagle Springs community sale on April 14th.  There is always really good stuff to be found,  especially if you are looking for baby stuff.

I agree with you, pregnancy sucks.  Have you read any of the Jenny McCarthy books on pregnancy?  They are hilarious.  There is also one called "Pregnancy Sucks" which is also a great read....kind of makes you feel better about the whole thing.

I had 2 great uneventful pregnancies, so I should be grateful (no morning sickness, babies were healthy, etc.) but I hated being huge, the feeling on my bladder being bounced on, ribs getting kicked, the swelling, and a bunch of other stuff that is TMI.

But in the end, it is all worth it.  BUT, I will never go it again! 4951

@Littlegoo: i havent but i will.  I need some comic relief.  Thanks!I think i saw you at Gene Green on Sunday after lunch time.  I was leaving as you and your family were arriving.  Cute kids and great looking dog.   I thought about staying but there was a pitt bull that just arrived and the owner had it on leash.  I was a little worried about any issues that pitt might have..

Oh, yeah, that would have been us!  Too bad we missed you.  I had the baby in the bjorn, even though she is probably too big for it now, I just wanted to be safe. Too bad we missed you.  We noticed the pitt too, the owners did keep in on the leash, and walked around the perimeter of the park.  All the dogs off leash inside the park got along nicely.
