Grant and his sister Claire were students at the preschool I taught at last year. I had the pleasure of having each of them in my class every week. Grant is a beautiful, sweet, energetic boy and I saw him days before his diagnosis and you would never have thought he was sick. Please read the following info about a blood drive for him. Also, please keep Grant, his sister, and his parents in your prayers and all those who know and love them as well.
"Melanie and David McTaggart, Kingwood residents, found out on May 24th that their almost 3 year old son, Grant McTaggart, has Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This was shocking as he seemed perfectly healthy just a few days before the diagnosis. You can read more about his fight via www.prayforgrant.com.
As a community we all want to help. In Grant's honor, I, along with several others, will be sponsoring a replenishment Blood Drive on his 3rd Birthday. This is a great way to give back to your community by just donating under an hour of your time....well...and your blood.
