Good choice, and a good indication that Trump is serious about putting America back on top and pulling us out of this economic socialisism funk. Put people to work and end this taker handout society we've become. 4951

At the end of the day, nonee of the picks affect me.

High paying jobs for rich people.

@Stealth83: I saw one of the Dem pundants complaining about the cabinet being stacked with millionaires and billionaires, and not people with experience or who will be pro-working people. This pundant was Robert Reich, former Sec of Labor, whose net worth is $4 million, BTW.

Trump is gearing up to run this country like a business, not a soup kitchen, therefore millionaires and billionaires likely know a thing or two about business.

These appointees aren't going to make much money compared to the tens of millions if not hundreds of millions they already make a year. It's almost like charity to them. 4951

I doubt anyone takes a cabinet post for the money. It's all about serving at the pleasure of the President when asked, and for the title they will always hold...Former Sec of XYZ. 4951

@donnatella: Trump is gearing up to run this country begins to explain the proposed reductions to Social Security and turning Medicare into voucher program with no discernible plan to reduce the cost of insurance plans, other than purchase insurance across state borders. He may not intend to run it like a soup kitchen but those that do run them could well be busier in the future.

I went to high school with Rex. It was a strange thing for him to be Exxon CEO. This is just bizarre. 4951

Appointees are irrelevant.  Policies are what count.  Why does the dialogue go to names rather than what is planned and can be implemented? 4951
