Learn how to put chains on yet???
I still don't miss the white death
@Jpgurl: no chains yet . We are in the city plus if it gets sobad that we need chains this homeboy is staying at the casa !
@staylifted:
You don't normally need chains in the metro area. The sun melts much of the.light snowfall within a few hours, unless it's a longer storm. The news will overplay the first few snowfalls. All season tires were usually enough. We lived south of denver at a higher altitiude and they were fine.
@MarT:
I'm surprised the roads are so bad. I'm actually in stapleton and drive montview east and then south on havana and that stretch is the pits ! You would think all the taxes they make on my weed purchases we would have the best roads. Nah not by a long shot . I have ventured out for a drive down colfax headed into town and there are some straight up sketchy places . Already had one incident but alls good .
@staylifted: sounds about right. They plow as needed, minimally. After a major blizzard (ages ago) Mayor Fredrico Pena had the dump trucks drive the roads to pack down the snow, major fail, lol!!! They rely on the sun, and it works most of the time, plow plus sun. The plus is, no corriding salt for your vehicles.
