There used to be a store, only open during Christmas time..all Christmas decorations, they had a huge King Kong climbing a Christmas tree. I used to go all the time with my grandma when I was a kid so 30+ years ago.

If not that one, is there any like that around? 4951

Was it on 59 past the Galleria? I think it was The Original Christmas Stor. I remember going once with my parents in the '80's then getting milkshakes at Bennigans after. http://ochistorical.blogspot.com/2011/12/original-christmas-store.htmlIt's long gone now, though.  4951

If you ever are traveling in Michigan, you should visit Bronners, www.bronners.com/?gc lid=CjwKEAiA1ITCBRDO -oLA-q_n8xYSJADjBQfG jnrsU69ZrMBgtQ6 it is a fun place to wander around in, and then visit Zenhnders,http://www.zehnders.com/  for a lovely chicken dinner. Of course they have a lot more now, than when I last visited there, many years ago. 4951

Bronners in MI is the coolest Christmas place EVER- I bought several really nice ornaments made in GER there. Place is huge- I spent 3 hours in there and that was fast paced- had the kids and hubs- they and anything fragile don't mix 4951
