I live on a "high protein" diet & stay at 125 lbs. of course I weigh myself every morning so I know if I have gained any weight & then I know what I can eat that day to maintain my 125 lb. weight . Is there anyone else that does this ? At one time I ballooned up to 225 lbs. & it took me 2 years to get back down to 125 so now I'm extra careful not to eat anything that will pack on those unwanted pounds again .
@WJo: I do the same thing using a low carb diet. I have a 6 lb allowance in either direction, though. I have my set weight and will go up to 3 lbs higher before getting strict with my diet. If I go 3 lbs below my set weight I will add a little extra food (that rarely happens, though!) because my clothes start to get too loose and I find that i'm just hungry all the time. It can be a lot of work and all the holiday goodies don't help either!
