Used golden-seal Enchacia and Uva Ursi and cranberry juice, You cant take vitamin C, cranberry juice and Uva Ursi together. I took it separately 2 hours apart. Good news the old medicine works you have to be brave and praying though. I was tempted to go to the doctor and wipe it quick with antibiotics, I hope I don't have to rodeo that again. 4951

Always wipe front to back and pee after sex.

UTI's are not something to play with. They can go from mild discomfort to sepsis in a second. Just because you aren't having symptoms doesn't mean its gone. 4951

@BooBear: Dont worry I'm Taking the meds still. I used diet cranberry to flush during the day so it didn't back up.Yes its a confirmation Ocean Spray makes a good juice..I think the uva ursi pushed it out too. I used the drops with water that way it went to my kidney immediatly 4951

Worse, maybe.  Weirder? No.

@SandyKnee: Just telling you the old herbal medicine works. Don't have to drop $300 to let your body fix itself. Nothing weird.

I agree for the most part. I never take anything for a cold, etc..but some things are just better killed with science. They need to be really really dead not just a little dead.

The remedy you mention treat only the symptoms, not the underlying cause. Most common UTI are cause by naturally occurring e coli..your stuff doesn't kill it at all. It might reduce the inflammation and pain but the bacteria is still running rampant through you. Chronic UTI's can have any number of causes. My niece's diagnosis of MS was preceded by years of Urinary problems..it can be a symptom.

Don't go to a Dr. for somethig simple..but when major organs are involved, at least go to get the cause and then determine the natural or chemical way you want to treat it. 4951

@BooBear: Antibiotics don't kill anything they retreat your immune system.Case in example my mother and dad were resistant allergic to them. They were prescribed altered antibiotics with side effects because they grew up in a generation where they were prescribed for everything. If your immune system is so weak it cant fight a infection and kill all of it you have more problems than just a infection. I'm not saying the medicine doesn't have a place. .

@OeeO which is why we need to let our kids play in the mud and quit using antibacterial everything. We aren't helping ourselves. We should help our immune systems to work better. Generations if being prescribed an antibiotic for everything has made the bacteria more immune and harder to treat.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but some thing are safer to get more than one opinion. You need to find out the root cause then decide after that the way you want to treat it. 4951
