Dang good.My son-in-law wanted taco's for breakfast yesterday.Usually he goes to Taco Cabana, but I said "You know, a lot of folks 'on the forum' rave about Tita's in Humble. It's not that far, ut I have never been."So he heads off and comes back with like a couple dozen taco's for 5 people.First thing you notice, a very slight taste of bean. Everyone noticed.George (my son-in-law) said they spread a thin coating of refried beans on the tortilla. You know what, it works.The tortillas are wonderful, right up there any home made ones I have had before.You know the kind, where the tortilla becomes part of the topic of conversation, in a really good way.Then there is the green and red sauce. Both pretty good. My daughters were like, "Man, they are really spicy!"I drank one of the red ones from the little plastic container, straight up, to try it, and I thought it was a little spicy, so I guess it depends on the heat level you like.We had Tomatillo, he bought like 3 to try, and if you like the taste of chillies, like say bell, anaheim, none heat varieties,  you should try this one.The barbacoa was good.The chorizo was pretty good.Those are the ones I had.Everyone liked them, but my wife and youngest only tried the bacon egg and cheese.The tacos are pretty good, however I find them a little bland on their own. But then, I like the heavier flavors typically. Example, the barbacoa tasted like barbacoa, just more sedate than I am used to. Fiesta Azteca on 1960 is more flavorful, IMO.But they are further, harder to order from, and have a tendency to screw up your order.George said he would go back just to deal with the servers, he had a blast ordering and interacting with the staff. He loved the whole process. He said they were so helpful and friendly.So yes, I would go back.No I do not consider them the BEST breakfast taco's I've had, but they are in the top 5 for sure.Price of the breakfast tacos is about the same as anywhere.Their side sauces are damn good in my opinion. Maybe also not the best I've ever had, but very flavorful and add a lot to the taco to help them out, for me.I wonder if they bottle that red sauce? 4951

@FoFaDude, I just read my beautiful hubbs, who is a self proclaimed Titas Tacos connoisseur, your most appreciated review, and he said that you must return and order the most deliciousness of the Tacos, which includes the Guisada, the Chicharrone, and the Pork in Red Chilies Sauce....  He also said the Beef in Red Chilies Sauce is "wonderful" as well...He recommends their Cactus and/or Squash (Dish) Tacos if you're wanting a Vegetarian or just lighter grub kind of Taco.... Oh, and he said that you must get the White Cheese on any/all Tacos.... .....And now he's just tossin' out names of Tacos here.... ..."Papa Chorizo, Papa Con Chorizo," and just yada yada yada.....  I can't keep up....Anywho, I'm glad you and yours enjoyed Titas... What a Most blessed way to kick off your Sunday....  AWESOME!

Pappas BBQ breakfast tacos cannot be beat. Especially there brisket egg and cheese. They are closed on Sunday for breakfast though.

@jax:
I will try Titas next week. I hope you are right.

@SwaggyG:

I'm right for me.

Give em a try. Tell Jose it's your first visit. He'll take good care of you.

Mix up your tacos with corn and flour tortillas. You might find out what I did...that the corn tortillas, for breakfast anyway, really are the way to go. This coming from a huge flour tortilla guy. It took me a while to try them on corn, but after about 10 visits, Jose convinced me to try the corn. I'm glad I did. Totally changed everything.

But, to each his own. I hope you find a place you like other than Pappas if only for a change of venues every so often.
