Prepare yourself for the possibility. His contract with Bama is up in February, so there's no buyout to get him. His first goal will be to find a head coaching job. I doubt many power house programs touch him to lead their program, so next tier programs like U of H may at least give him an interview. Bama won't renew his contract, as they already have his replacement on staff.
LSU will probably offer him $2 mil a year to be their OC.
Here's a better option for you - PJ Fleck from Western Michigan. He's a little quirky, but if you're looking for a coach doing things differently with a great deal of success, without kissing college kids, I think he's the best guy for the job. 4951
