HEB - Kingwood Market invited us out to preview the new store today. Here is some info provided by them about this GINORMOUS grocery store. As Kingwood keeps pace with those who seek the tree-lined community’s neighborly sanctuary so does the H-E-B family, adding products and services to simplify and satisfy life for local shoppers. H-E-B Kingwood Market, located at 4517 Kingwood Drive, brings brand innovation and world-class shopping to Northeast Houston with an emphasis on simple and fresh quality meals all at affordable prices. The new 105,000 sq ft facility will be open to the public tomorrow (10/26/16) morning at 6AM.  Unit Director Tony Klaus, a lifetime resident of the East Lake Houston area, has 34 years of retail grocery experience with 25 of them at H-E-B, beginning as a meat market manager. He is excited to deliver a new store format the Kingwood community deserves and expects, but most importantly looks forward to providing the highest standard of customer service. “We understand the importance of community involvement and are thrilled at the opportunity to deliver an expanded shopping experience with new offerings to the neighborhood. The addition of a pharmacy drive-thru, Cooking Connection and H-E-B Blooms will definitely give shoppers a true taste of H-E-B’s innovation and world-class shopping right here in Northeast Houston,” said Klaus. **NEW Conveniences Perfect for Eating In or Eating Out**H-E-B Meal Simple products offer busy families an easy solution to finding fresh, convenient and easy chef inspired and approved meal solutions, for streamlining home-cooked family favorites. Enomatic wine dispensers sound awesome. Anything comparable for ice cold Bud lite?

Will walkers be permitted to walk the perimeter on harsh days? 4951

Are you from Pittsburgh? Waitresses would ask us if we wanted our beer straight up or on the rocks. We had to learn to answer with a straight face! Lol! Good times in Pgh! 4951

@Jpgurl: Does his wife work there too?  He is really the greatest PR for the store and would be great in a commercial.

@ctl74: It's...Seriously, it's one of the biggest stores I've ever been in. The aisles are wider, and there's plenty of room for the popup things they do on the weekends. The only downfall of that is running in to just grab a couple things. It'd be the equivalent of doing a 5K.  Emoticon Outside of that, it's really nice. But almost everything brand new is nice. They're not done with everything, so be aware of that. The clinic isn't finished yet, and the restaurant won't be done until early 2017. As you can see from the video, most everything is stocked. I like it! ~C 4951
