Is anyone actually happy with their insurance plans? No one I know is very happy with their selection. Please share your plan info if you love it. Thanks
PS: not trusting Google for this 4951

Mine is fine. BCBS PPO. I have no idea how much it actually cost though. My job pays for a large portion of it.. 4951

If health, I have United Health Care and am satisfied. Had them for the past 4 years. My employer pays 100% which makes me like it even more. 4951

@gigem09: You are blessed to have 100% coverage through your employer. For the smaller biz not able to pay 100% it is a split if one wants health insurance. I know for one individual alone the share is about $650.00 a month no dependent coverage. The Obama care does not allow a choice.and all the Carriers are regulated with limitations to competitiveness. Is breaking the average earner.

No. I have an Aetna PPO, and its $914 per month for me, wife and daughter. And its a 3k deductible, so it pays nothing essentially, all toward deductible. At this point I should have deposited the premiums and just been a cash payer at doctor. I am  thinking of actually doing it this year. Penalty easy to get out of, just pay light bill late and file for hardship exemption. Hard thing is a lot of doctors wont take you if you dont have "some" coverage. I am self employed so those premiums are business costs but still. 4951

I have only had health insurance for a total of six months in the last twelve years. I covered pneumonia with cash $800.00. Doctor visits are $56-91 cash plus testing. Even with my huge third fine coming up I can say it was still cheaper for me to go without it. My husband got a new job that will cover it thank God. It's just a matter of finding a good plan. 4951

@coco1248: Yes, I absolutely am. They don't pay well, but the insurance is worth it. I have a friend who is a business owner and she pays over $800 a month for herself. Obamacare did not help small businesses at all.

@Steven H: I have never come across a doctor who would not take a patient because they were self-pay and had no insurance.

@SwaggyPIf the anti-ACA (ObamaCare) had not encouraged the young to not enroll the insured pool COULD be such that premiums would be lower.  Intending to torpedo it the opposers instead actively campaigned against the young and healthy purchasing insurance.  Talk about promoting being responsible. 4951

@mulmye: That is one of the funniest statements I've ever read. We are used to you dems playing the blame game-but this one tops it. How in the hell do you figure those Anti-ACA folks are encouraging the young not to enroll. "Hey youngins-don't enroll", lol.Has nothing to do with Obama changing the way Ins. Co's have rated health policies since health ins first came out (based on claims-like every other ins co does in the world) which was working fine-but Obama and his super intelligent cronies are now requiring ins co's to decrease the gap the young insured's pay vs the older insureds-making the younger folks pay more. Add the fact that rates have gone up minimum 40% to 100% and more since this cluster***** came out to the fact that the younger folks are paying more than their claims they are having-and it's a no brainer for them.Give our younger generation alittle more credit than that and put the blame where it belongs-OBAMACARE!

Just be careful picking in regards to hospitals.  One thru work no longer has MD Anderson or Methodist!  I called to schedule mammogram and they tentatively asked if ins had changed (yes, cos I had seen hospitals no longer covered).  She was relieved! 4951

I carry the entire family with medical PPO through Aetna, full dental, vision, etc for about $450/month. It is supposed to go up a little to around $470 but the benefits stay the same. 4951
