This is from the Total Conservative website. New National Polls Have Trump
Back in the Lead

10/20/2016
 /  By shawn

After a two-week period
where it appeared that Donald Trump’s support was sinking beyond the point of
the horizon, a new set of national polls proves that it ain’t over till it’s
over. According to the newest Rasmussen Reports survey, the Republican nominee
is poised to be the next president of the United States.

“The latest Rasmussen
Reports national telephone and online White House Watch survey finds Trump with
43 percent support among Likely U.S. Voters to Clinton’s 40 percent,” said the
survey company on Thursday. “Six percent still prefer Libertarian candidate
Gary Johnson, and three percent favor Green Party nominee Jill Stein. Another
three percent like some other candidate, and six percent are undecided.”

Hillary has – for the
second time since the conventions – squandered an overwhelming lead in the
polls.

“Clinton held a seven-point lead at the beginning of last week just
after the airing of an 11-year-old video showing Trump making graphic sexual
remarks, but she began losing ground after the second presidential debate,”
said the pollsters.

Rasmussen isn’t alone in
noting the turning tide.

The latest edition of the
USC/LA Times “Daybreak” tracking poll has Trump at 44.3 percent to Clinton’s
43.6 percent. Then there is the IDB-TIPP poll, which has been cited as the most
accurate survey of the 2012 election season. Their latest numbers have Trump at
41, Clinton at 40.

Do these polls reflect
electoral reality? Or are we to trust the NBC polls that show Hillary leading
Donald by double digits?

In fairness, the question
is irrelevant. The election will be decided by the states, and only a handful
of states at that. Popular vote doesn’t matter. Trump has to get to 270.

If he can keep performing
like he performed at the third debate, that goal is well within reach.

@TXSG: I find it unlikely that his support was ever sinking, you either like him or hate him.  I find it more likely the media trying to discourage his voters by saying he has no chance to win and hope alot of them don't even show up to vote but I think it may go the other way and Hillary voters may not show up thinking Trump has no chance of winning.  Either way I will be glad when this circus is over.

@friday1, we have been getting IBD for 10+ years. They were dead on with the last few elections.  And they are showing Trump up by 2 today.Real Clear, has a couple of ringer polls in the mix for Hillary, 11 and 12 points ahead.  Both were ABC polls I think. And even with those, Hillary's number are still going down.So all the news headlines are now saying Hillary is trouncing Trump in the polls.  That is liberal news speak for OMG!  We have to do all we can to get her numbers back up.  Watch for porn stars and prostitutes to be showing up on the news nightlyEmoticon  Hillary is tired and old.  She is playing dirty politics like the washed up politician she is.  And people are so done with it, and her.

@Fallon: If you can't trust a professional prostitute, who can you trust?

when it's all over we will see you our new president will be for the next 4 to 8 years , we  will not be happy no matter which one gets into office & we will not be happy with the way they run business while they are in office. That's the way it always is , no one is ever happy with whom ever is in the presidents seat . That's why we have an election every 4 years . So get out there and VOTE for who ever you think will do the best job . Then you can say "I voted but I was out numbered when the other party gets in (LOL). 4951

If Hillary becomes president, this country will suffer for decades from her pick of Supreme Court judges. Her team said Saturday, they have been talking to repubs and dems in Congress for a smooth transition. She sure thinks she is def winning. 4951

@sweetie: Obama made us and our kids suffer.  Hillary will make our grandchildren and their children suffer.

Depends who you ask.

I would rather see him down by 30, and have a surprise when the pro Hillary voters don't think they need to vote, you know, because it's "such a hassle, and Hillary will soon anyway!"

I'll more exit and see.

No reason to get all up in arms over polls right now.

Went to early voting at 8:15 this AM. The place was packed. Waited 32 minutes to get to a voting machine. I voted straight Republican ticket, which I normally do not do. 4951
