@ProblemAgain: Really? I didn't realize it would be that expensive or that much trouble to move the products over. Line up the trucks, late at night, load them up and truck them across the street. It doesn't seem that difficult. That is unless rhe donation is enough of a tax advantage to outweigh the moving costs.
@donnatella: plus then they are GUARANTEED everything is in order instead of finding old stock or outdated merchandise later....plus remember a large grocery store is usually only making about 5 percent. the donation will offset that compared to adding labor into moving and restocking, then selling for a loss from the added cost
