@ZoeyThis photo is of the Calla Lily Valley in Yosemite.....And that particular Scripture is meant to uplift, comfort and encourage with Faith....Tragedy, death, acts of inhumanity, cruelty and brutality happen ever second of every day around the globe, my friend.... Turn on the News....It's NOT God's fault.... We have what's called Free Will....Accidents, heart felt loss and vivid grief will occur, but Faith, leaning on God's Peace and Grace, leads us in our most difficult and darkest of days, in how we will act - react, in those unfortunate circumstances....   Â
@herron1345:
Unless you've lost a child, you have absolutely no idea what total HELL life
can be. It's so easy for anyone who has not lost a child to swallow scripture like this & has NO RIGHT to lecture someone who has.
Just as you have your right to believe, I have my right to ask why did such tragedy ever have to happen in the first place? Where's all that love, protection & guidance when it could've saved the life of one of the most perfect humans I've ever known.
I don't want to discuss this with anyone who can't possibly understand. You die inside over & over again, every day, every second. Is this what the lord wants, a dead child & an essentially dead parent?
Candidly, that scripture & many others seem so lame.
This is another thought, " You're never given more than you can handle."
Tell that one to the mother in San Diego who was found on her front yard, hacking up her 7 kids with a butcher knife. I guess she had more than she could handle.
If that scripture were really true, why can't there be some actual HELP before tragedies occur. Millions & millions of people are absolutely suffering every day with depression, major illness, countless tragedies, etc. & then read scripture like was posted & think, WTF, this is just horsesh!t.
You all can believe whatever you want but don't try to tell me something that doesn't apply to me.
This is not open discussion for me & this is all I want to say.
