Here lately, it has felt like Summer will never let go. Seriously ready for the sweater, jacket and coat weather. It's time! We paid our dues and endured long enough. We deserve this!

When has there ever been sweater, jacket or coat weather? The best that can be hoped for is long sleeves and jeans. As opposed to the near constant shorts and t-shirt weather. And don't worry it should be rolling around sometime in December or January. 4951

@CantStandTex:

I celebrate near constant shorts and t-shirt weather. Playing golf versus shoveling snow = no brainer.

On a side note I did spend three hours on the runway at IAH in a snow storm. We were waiting for the lone deicing truck to get to us. That was first week in some December. 4951

@CantStandTex:
The way we dress here is determined more by the date than the weather. I can wear boots now even though it's 90° but only at night. During the day it's still summer clothes.

But if drops to the lower 60's here it is full on sweater weather We have a/c we can crank it down. @CantStandTex, in college, I was in the mountains, and the day it turned April, it was spring. Even when we had snow on the ground. We all put on shorts anyway. We shoveled out snow to be able to lay in the sun. And one year Spring Break was delayed a couple of days because of a snow storm. The roads down the mountain were all closed.I will take out heat over that. But if I could have anything here different, honestly it would be the Fall! I want to see the colors change and the humidity to go away!

@Fallon: To many words for this time of day. Can I get back to this one later?

@Fallon: This seemed rational to you? I miss winter, not as much as fall but , skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice climbing, camping, ice hockey (pond hockey), sledding, ice fishing, football, New York City, The White Mountains.
