The truck from Georgia, pulling the trailer & cow from texas, loaded with the guys from Tennessee on their way to meet Mississippi, after leaving shcool in North Carolina would paint a much better picture of the lone star state. 4951

@deltadawn:  Yep, you got a snort out of me!As for the states, my favorite picture was for New York.  The article right after that one was Strange Names for Places.  My favorite has always been Dry Prong, LA.  I've driven through that little town several times and never could find out how it got it's name.  They claim it was because an early settler built a sawmill on a stream that ran dry (a "dry prong") but in my mind there has to be some other naughty reason!
