@Andreweggplant: You did the whole trail?  That's great.  Don't meet too many in this part of the U.S. that have done something like that.  How long did you take to do it?  I'm hoping in 6-7 years time to attempt it, but will depend on where I'm living.  If I can make it back to the Pac NW, it'll be a bit easier to prepare for than living here.

@analogkid: I don't think we hit 100% of it but we did a great majority of it.  Parts of is are kind of boring and actually do not go along the coast.  We were there for 17 days.   It was just beautiful with Eagles, wildlife, different scenery along the way...  I could go back and would love to stay at the Black Rock Ocean Front resort.  It is a most wonderful place....

@Andreweggplant: Well, seeing as the PCT is 2,650 miles long, it would be hard to hit 100% of it in 17 days. I'm thinking more the Mexico to Canada version.

A final solo ride to Sturgis with a stop at the Bunny Ranch on the way back. Take a long leak on the grave of a certain POS that crossed the line. A six month adventure with my best friend and my favorite guitar running old port bars and saloons along the Gulf Coast.Read Cervantes' "Don Quixote de la Mancha" in the original Spanish text. Reach up and touch the stars from a peak in the Sangre de Christo mountains.Author the final chapter and send it for edit. 4951

@analogkid: That would be cool....   I would have to retire and live off the land or something.  I love going places like that and taking pictures... Not sure about the Mexico par though but the US into Canada part was just beautiful....
