He's great, but this cut, recorded as Ol' Blue Eyes turned 50, makes us ache for all the sweet byroads of our lives. — John Dominis/Time & Life Pictures 4951
I thought I knew music but I only remember 3 or 4 songs on this list: Lately, A House Is Not a Home but by Luther Vandross and God Only Knows mainly because it was the theme song to Big Love on HBO , my favorite Beach Boys song was Wouldn't It Be Nice and of course everyone remembers Jailhouse Rock, most people my age remember the song and movie. 4951
That was an odd list. Fully half of the songs were before my music listening years, and they were not what I listened to. A few of those I heard when with adults, but not all. Note to my family: Do not use this list of songs if you are trying to reach me in coma or snap me out of a funk. Do use this playlist if you want me to cry myself to sleep. You know what I like - I have most of it on vinyl! 4951
