I haven't watched my TV in over 3 years but I don't want to miss the debate. I bought an antennae but I haven't hooked it up yet & I don't know what sort of reception I'll get.

Any fun places to watch a TV with minimum chances of knock down drag out fights? 4951

With football in full swing, I doubt any place is going to not show a game to instead show the debate.

You might be able to find a place that will change the channel for you to sit and watch, but you'll have to find a place that's not very busy. 4951

@ZoeyDude, you obviously have Internet service, so simply watch it Online...Peeps NBC's website and stream it live time ....  I'm also willing to bet that it'll be on the other News Outlets Online as well: Fox News, MSNBC, etc etc....So, I say kick back on the couch and watch Hillary's lies unfold...

Johnny's Pizza has a lot of screens and the evening traffic during the week doesn't seem to pack the place to the point where they couldn't accommodate. I'm sure if you have dinner there, you could get one screen on the debate.

None of my business, but why don't you get a basic satellite package that carries local networks, Fox and CNN so you can see things you want. That would be cheaper in the long run. 4951

@donnatella:

Yes, that's pnrobably the best idea yet, thanks!

Lately, I've sort of had it having to get dressed to go out & by the time I get home, my clothes are completely soaked.

Think I'll call & get it hooked up tomorrow.

That way I can stay home & not feel obligated to order some crappy food.

I hope The Don has some good zingers ala Ronald Reagan. Really smart, funny come backs are such fun & that's mostly what's remembered & quoted through out history.

@Zoey: Oh, no, I wouldn't recommend a place that has crappy food. You can get that in any crap bar anywhere. Spring Creek and Johnny's aren't gourmet but they are good places with good service and food.

@Zoey:  I'm sure you could find a friend who is going to watch it and would let you join them.  Tell them you will spring for a platter of chicken strips from CFL and they will love it.
