Nextcare on Northpark.Walgreens Memorial Hermann on W Lake HoustonSome may recommend HEB Redi Clinic, which may work for you. I can't give my recommendation, due to several bad experiences. 4951

Walk-in clinics hve already been mentioned, and I second that reply.

Just about any doctor will take cash, but it won't be the same as co-pays with insurance. There are several walk-in clinics in the area, like KW Urgent Care and anplce on 1960 near Papa Murphys. You just need to google Humble or Kingwood family doctors, then call them to ask for their cash price.

Also, I thought Nobama made affordable healthcare available to everyone, that is after everyone working for and paying for company benefits saw their premiums skyrocket and THEIR benefits and access to good healthcare dwindle. 4951

@donnatella: Obamacare sucks. Dreading the new year trying to find a "good" and "affordable" plan. Last year was hard, most doctors available on there seemed to be in the Woodlands or Downtown. Too far for frequent visits, IMO.

@Nope: It's worth considering going out in the open market and purchasing an individual plan directly from the company (all the big ones at least) for anyone that does not have employer provided coverage. I've heard horrible things about Nobama care.

My DS got a pretty decent individual plan through BCBS for himself and the 2 kids... It wasn't cheap, but it was better than anything through Nobama Care!! 4951

I originally had BCBS, but then they removed that plan from Obamacare. Now I have Aetna, which they will also be removing. I don't know how many other plans can be left. 4951

FYI, Flu shots at Costco are $9.99. Everyone else I been told $25.00 and up. Also if you need meds try blinkhealth.com. My meds without insurance was going to cost me $500.00 for 90day supply and purchase on the site for 49.00 and pick up my meds at Walgreens 4951

I was recently making a yearly check-up and when mentioned insurance was X now and not y she was happy.  And this was not Obamacare ins. , was thru work.  They be changing landscape all over the place.  Very carefully the docs and hospitals accepted!  One thru work is not accepted thru Methodist and am thinking MD Anderson the other.   4951
