>> RE, you can go to Walgreens or HEB. I think they have a clinic I think. I hope it's not the shingles. I think chicken pox would also be on tummy.
@sweetie: I took the Shingles vaccine a year ago. Â My wife just came up and yanked my shirt up to look at my stomach and chest. Â I have bumps there too.
@Retired_Engineer: Well you shouldn't have bothered with that vaccine if you never had chickenpox before as you wouldn't have been able to get shingles. A person who has never had chickenpox, if coming into contact with someone with either CP or shingles can develop CP not shingles. I had chickenpox as a kid and have many scars from the experience but it is much worse for an adult, my old supervisor (who is no longer with us sadly but CP wasn't the reason) had chickenpox as an adult and it was awful. If memory servers you are contagious until the last lesion scabs over. While technically speaking there is no evidence to suggest the shingles vaccine you took is the cause of your current predicament, it does expose you to the virus and since you had apparently never been exposed before it isn't impossible that your vaccine played some role. You should probably have gotten the regular varicella vaccine instead.
