Report: George H.W. Bush to Vote for Hillary ClintonJ.J. Gallagher,Good Morning America 1 hour 42 minutes ago Comments Like Reblog on Tumblr Share Tweet EmailFormer president George H.W. Bush plans to vote for Hillary Clinton in the upcoming election, according to a report by Politico.The 92-year-old Republican 41st president and member of a conservative political dynasty that spans several generations will vote against his party, or so says the scion of another family at the center of American politics.Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend, a former Maryland lieutenant governor and daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy, posted to Facebook "The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!”Townsend told Politico she met with the former president in Maine on Monday, where he told her about his preference in this year's ballot. “That’s what he said,” she told Politico."The vote President Bush will cast as a private citizen in some 50 days will be just that: a private vote cast in some 50 days," a spokesman for Bush told ABC News. "He is not commenting on the presidential race in the interim." 4951

This is an excellent example of how the risk of dementia increases dramatically after 90. 4951

I also heard the same thing from the cousin of a friend of the housekeepers daughter on her husbands Twitter page so it must be true.

@squirtismyboy:

No offense, but this verges on a very uneducated, moronic response.

Tell me, from which institution do you need verification from? The Mayo Clinic, researchers at Harvard Medical School, The Brain & Behaviour Institute?
Which one of those will you accept to appease your doubting?
Oh yeah, that crap you posted is soooo a few decades ago. Welcome to the 21st century. 4951

@Zoey: Well, I could say that I'm related to British royalty and post a picture of me in front of the Queen's home. Doesn't mean it's true.Bush's camp haven't denied the claim but, rather, said that they're working to verify it. So, no, I won't believe it until they verify it.

Given a choice between an outsider that could rock the boat or just the next cog in the same wheel, why would it surprise anyone that GHWB would support the next cog? 4951

@Zoey: Clearly that post went right over your head.
I think the point of it was that no one really knows who George H.W. Bush is voting for except for George H.W. Bush. There is nothing "uneducated" or "moronic" about taking things you see on the internet with a huge grain of salt. Quite the opposite, frankly.......... 4951

@Zoey: Sure, because stereotyping people is a great trait to have.Who really cares who votes for who?

@Stealth83:

Just because, in YOUR mind , you've labeled something, doesn't make it so.

BTW: It's who votes for WHOM. 4951
