Â If you adopt from a GOOD rescue group the kitten will have been vetted, been tested for Feluk/FIV and they should cover vaccinations and spay/neuter in the adoption fee. Â Same applies to a kitten from an Animal Control. Â Adopting is by far the best value for money in the long run and you save a life too.

@bluewave: The adoptions at both Petco and Pets Mart are rescue groups. I think Petco is VAP, not sure who is at Pets Mart now. BARC is also having $5.00 adoptions this weekend. Those kittens are fully vetted. There is also Wag to Whiskers in Porter. Montgomery County Animal Shelter also has adoptions. I think QueenofSpayeds here on KDC also helps with feline rescue.
