@ZMAN: Welcome to the forum ZMAN. Be bold, share your thoughts. Try not to spew logic too often, you'll be skewered by the idiots but you will also be heard by everyone else too.  So what is on your mind?

The liberals finally woke up and saw the light. Once they stopped listening to the liberal media and started thinking for themselves, they became conservatives. 4951

@CC1974: What I have always heard is a liberal is a conservative that finally went to college. Sorry, dude but that is what I've heard.

@KevinJ: OP-you can  normally pick the lefty's out pretty fast with their name calling and insults if another member disagrees with their liberal viewpoints-the name calling is against the rules here but they don't seem to care (kinda like they are following in their candidates footsteps with the not being able to follow simple rules),,

@ZMAN: Not at all, ZMAN.  The Democrats of Kingwood are very active. I saw them not too long ago at the KW library and they meet up monthly in KW too. Sorry, I don't know where though. Besides, it's good for both sides to be represented or people just work themselves up into rants thinking everyone is like them.  Glad to have you.  I have lived here for over 15 years now but only recently have actively participated in the forum. Been reading it awhile now though.

This forum appears to be far right, but I think there are a lot of more moderate folks that just avoid the political threads due to the nastiness and propaganda that get spewed.  I am liberal on some social issues and mostly conservative on fiscal issues.  I don't want to come onto a community website and deal with the pure spite that gets posted, so I just avoid them for the most part.  Sometimes I can't avoid it and I chime in, but I prefer the more helpful threads.  4951

I have never experienced nastiness or propaganda here. It's just people stating their opinions. I guess it helps that I agree with most here. 4951
