Is there still an Atascocita location just east of WLH Pkwy?  I try to do a special lunch out with each grand kid, sort of a end to the summer break ritual. I was thinking of taking my 10th grade GS there. He has his first football scrimmage tonight so I thought he might like to carboload on some pasta. 4951

@kingwood1960: It's not across from Krogers though.  It's farther down in the shopping center with Tuesday morning close to the bridge.

Yes, it is still there, and a very good choice. Went there last week with friends, and it was yummy as usual. The garlic knots are to die for. Good food, good service, and supporting a locally owned business is always a plus. 4951

Thanks, just found the website and it's a good pick since I'm dropping off at Atascocita HS at 1 so it's close by. 4951

I love Italiano's lasagna! It is the best. The fettuccini Alfredo with chicken is one of my favs too, but I don't let myself order it very often. Garlic knots have been hit or miss recently. If the are hot they are soft and amazing. But when they are cold they are tough and dry. 4951

@ChrisinkingwoodMy friend, you can not go wrong with Italianos.....Their Cheese Pizz-zie (Pizza) is simply righteous, and one of my favs around.........And their (Side) Caesar Salad is the perfect accompaniment, along with their famous, and pretty deadly-delicious, Garlic Knots........And if you're looking for a Snack-Ums recommended Appetizer, dude, look no further than their Italian Sampler, which includes, Toasted Ravioli, Fried Shrooms and Fried Cheese Sticks....

Thanks everyone, we ended up going there and had a nice meal. I think the grandkids appreciate it when they get a special one on one meal out. We ordered the cheese sticks and each had a small salad and calzone.  It was all good but I feel like I've had my cheese quota for the week now. We talked about football, his position (safety), classes he's taking this year (10th). We covered a lot and then I dropped him at the high school. 4951
