I know of someone who tried it. Didn't make much money because the only car she had in the household that was "new enough" to drive according to Uber's requirements, was an SUV and after factoring in expense for fuel, there wasn't much money made to justify the time and mileage. If you have a newer, fuel efficient car, then it could be worth the effort. All you can do is try it out.

I've also heard mixed opinions.... most of them negative.
That really doesn't equate to much however....one should try it out to see personally.
I would think due to us being so close to IAH there is decent money to be had shuttling airport travelers to and from.
From past experience as a jetsetter....id much rather take an uber than getting into a tired, ex-police car, spray painted Chevy smelling of bad cologne, pine air freshener and puke. Lol 4951
