Mine had a situation similar to
@fofa. The vet asked when we got her spayed if we wanted to remove them. My thought was, I'm not going to remove them just because thats what some people do. If it's not necessary, she's going to keep them. Fast forward a year and she had gotten it caught or ripped on something. I didn't notice until I could see her in pain and messing with it because it got infected. Even then, they just removed the nail. It was a minor surgery, it grew back and she's just fine. 4951
