@Chrisinkingwood, do you like the BGE?  My dh is looking at them.  I am not.  lol  We have a built in gas grill and I love it.  Never have to refill gas tanks for it, and it is ready with one click of a button
@Fallon: I really like it for it's ability to really sear a steak but I have to plan ahead as charcoal takes more time to go from the bag to a full fledged cooking fire. It can also be used for long slow low temperature cooking like when you smoke cuts like brisket or ribs.I also have a gas grill and prefer it for seafood, veggies, chicken and when I'm just not in the mood for making the charcoal fire. The BGE is the best of the Kamado style ceramic cookers. Mine is now 10 years and a few parts could be replaced but it's held up better than an all metal grill would.
