So, I figured I should share this. Yesterday while driving at about 4:45pm I saw a BOBCAT run in front of my car. This was on Rock Falls which crosses Rockmead. The same street with Fondren Ortho, Texas childrens, etc. It ran infront of my car and was coming out of the wooded area behind Texas Children's, I tried to call a few places to let them know. Non emergency number wasn't working, animal control was closed down, then I called another animal control place and they said they charge for wildlife removal. HAHA! Anyways, If you live over there in that Kings Manor area, stay out of the wooded area or be careful. X marks the spot I saw it.

Coolest thing EVER when you can hear them "talking" to each other late at night.  Almost makes you forget about the concrete jungle that was once our Livable Forest. 4951

One has been spotted in Kings Point too. Hope to see one eventually. Still haven't seen coyotes, but occasionally hear them. 4951

@FeelinMinnesota there are a quite a few of them around.  No reason to call anyone about it. They live all over Kingwood.  Along with coyotes, deer, and a few foxEmoticon

@Fallon:

Don't forget wild hogs, American bald eagles and a variety of snakes. 4951

@FeelinMinnesota: Why would you want to remove it?  It is their forest and we have trespassed and are raping the land so there is not much space left for them.  I am sure there are a number of them around.  Saw one in Hunter's Ridge park early one morning.  They are probably more scared of you than you are of it.

It was just a shock, the only thing I have seen around here is deer the whole 30 years I've lived in Kingwood. But yall are right, they probably are scared and not dangerous. No reason to call. Emoticon 4951

You'll see more of them in drought conditions...heading to areas that get watered to retrieve bunny rabbits and whittle down the feral cat population. Bad for fawns though with limited cover. 4951

@FeelinMinnesota: Come walk with me when I take the dog out, especially in the AM.  We have seen bobcats, coyote, possum, assorted birds, butterflies,various snakes, turtles and just yesterday an whole family of raccoon.  The Mom and Dad (i assume) were almost as big as my dog....
