@MarT: It is embarrassingly expensive.  No security, and $250/month.  If I could get satellite, I would go that route and only use suddenlink for internet but have too many big trees in my yard.

@buffaloglenn: OMG! Thats a lot. The weird thing is another person may call and get different price. If there is a deal going or specials someone else may get higher/lower price. I went to the office for zomething one day and they asked me..would you like to save money? I said sure and they gave me a new cheaper plan.

Right now we pay about $150 to SL for phone, internet and security, but Direct TV bill just keeps creeping up.  It was $157 so I cancelled Showtime and Starz and it should be about $130.  Which is about $30 higher than it was last winter without Showtime and Starz.  4951

I will say for Suddenlink that we have had good internet speed and connection, with only one day this year where they were down 24 hours recently.  HD TV is good, not great, and the home phone part is basically free as it would cost almost the same if you didn't bundle.  4951

I called DTV and told them I was shopping around and they upgraded a receiver and gave me a $25 a month discount for a year, so we'll stick with them for a year.  That puts us at about $250 for all of our services and I think I can add Stars and Showtime through Amazon Prime for cheaper.  I have to watch Outlander and Homeland Emoticon 4951

I have cable TV with no premium channels, 200 Mbps internet with unlimited data, and a phone.  My bill is right at $200/month.@MarT:  It's worth your time to call them and ask how you can save money.  By bundling my phone and going to unlimited data, my costs dropped!  Of course, I was paying for data overages because we and our son like to stream movies and he plays some online games.  I paid as much as $80 additional dollars one month for data overages. 4951

I was thinking that too @Retired_Engineer.I get all the channels.  However, I have to honestly say they all suck.  lolWe have Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix too.  I need to cut my cable bill way back.  We really do not need all those channels.

@Fallon:  We use Amazon Prime and Netflix a lot.  We also record those few shows that we like on cable so we can watch them and fast forward through the commercials.  We had HBO and Showtime years ago, but found that they mostly play old movies and only show a few new ones each month.  Showtime did have a feature that announced a movie and gave a "boob count" for the movie.  I really liked that feature!

We have internet only. 200Mbps, unlimited data. We constantly stream via Netflix or Amazon and it's never gone down or been slow. $70/month. 4951

@lisapisabobisa: Wow, that's a really good price, looked at our SL bill it says we pay $106 for Double Play for phone and 200/unlimited internet plus we have security that is $30.  Then with taxes it's about $150.  Does SL ever give deals if you call?
