I saw this video yesterday.  There are actually a couple of other YouTube videos that compare the YETI tumblers to WalMart's Ozark Trail brand and another brand.

www.youtube.com/watc h?v=ZJ1JAfDsGYwWalma rt sells the Ozark Trail 30oz tumbler for $9.74 and it performs at least as good as the YETI and in some tests, even slightly beats it.  When I checked yesterday, Walmart on-line was out of stock (as were all of the local Walmarts), but when I checked online again today, they are available with free shipping.  When you compare the Ozark Trail 30oz at $9.74 to the YETI 30oz tumbler at about $40, it's a great deal. www.walmart.com/ip/O zark-Trail-30-Ounce- Double-Wall-Vacuum-S ealed-Tumbler/4 Trail also has 20oz tumblers and a can coozy.  Note: the tumblers don't come with a handle but they can be ordered.  Apparently, the handle that fits the YETI also fits the Ozark Trail. I ordered some handles from Amazon.Walmart sells the Ozark Trail 20oz tumbler for $7.74 4951

I bought a knockoff at Randalls, I think the brand name is Fire and Ice. It was $14.99 and lasts just as long as the Yeti we have. The F&I ones comes with a top that has a tighter seal and it slides shut, I prefer it over the lid that comes with the yeti. 4951

Yeti was cool when it was a startup based in Austin and manufactured in the states.

Now their double walled coolers are made in China....read the label.

Igloo is made here in TX; Igloo Rd. off of the Katy Fwy. past Pederson....I10 W. I will buy theirs hands down to support our local market and Texas jobs.

Yeti doesn't do that anymore. 4951

@TXtransplant:  The Ozark Trail tumblers are also made in China, possibly in the same factory as the YETI tumblers, as well as several other brands (RTIC, Magnum Steel, The Vault, Zero, etc).  They all seem to be identical (or nearly so), so I suspect the Igloo Eskimo tumblers are also made in China.

I would imagine they all are at this point.....and likely from the same factory as you noted

Igloo here at least has a blow mold operation making coolers and employing Texans.

For me that's good enough. I am tired of sending my hard earned money overseas

I have a Yeti, RTIC, and the Ozark Trail.  I tested them all together and there is no difference between them.  I'll gladly spend $9.74 instead of $39.99! 4951
