Thinking of kayaking out on river to watch fireworks.
Amyone knoe where they launch the fireworks for the KW show? 4951

I think it is on the golf course.. You have great viewing from HEB, Kingwood High School, or town center.... 4951

@GoldenGirl: Agreed! Kingwood High School works best for us... a clear view to the fireworks and the easiest place to get out afterward.

@GoldenGirl: Agreed! Kingwood High School works best for us... a cleaer view to the fireworks and the easiest place to get out afterward.

@KWKayaker: Your best bet would probably be to put in near the WLH bridge and head west.  IIRC there's a cut that goes north along the golf course just at the power lines that cross the river right there.  Not sure how much the trees would get in the way but that's probably the place where you can get the closest.  No idea how much boating traffic might be out there.  Definitely want to make sure you have your 360 degree light ready to go.
