And all the left over hot sauce that goes with them. Brought home 10 wings last night and was so tired I left the leftovers (and a cpl uneaten ones-but that's not what's going to cause his problems) on my coffee table-let him out this morning and instead of coming back to bed with me he stayed in the LR room for a while (was eating bones). Wasn't a bone or spec of sauce left in the container. Isn't going to be pretty for him today.Reminds me of my previous Weinie dog yrs back that my GF ordered me a special (large) Cheesecake (expensive by some Mex Rest that's famous for them) for my BD and we left on my Kitchen table while I walked her out. He must of like CC's alittle more than me as he climbed up in a chair and got it off the table and went to town. Everybody kept telling me how sick he was going to be but didn't phase him one bit. 4951

That's going to be an issue. Are you taking him to the vet?

@mm4731: I was planning on it-but called my sis who's been a vet tech for 20 yrs and she said there's really nothing they can do unless he's having issues and he's more than likely going to be fine (getting it stuck going down was the main concern and he made it thru that). The concern is with one of the bones poking his stomach lining or something else, He's definitely going to have some rough poops today. She told me to feed him some wet food instead of dry to mix with the bones and watch him. I'm definitely concerned and skipped my golf match today to stay home and watch him.

My uncle would give his farm dogs chicken bones. They never had a issue. They were labs and Shepards 4951

Now I am getting concerned although hes fine right now-I called Atascozoo (Huffman is his normal Vet and they are closed) as they are listed as an Emergency Vet and they said I need to bring him in for X-rays and they can induce vomiting. I can say I'm not the only one (lol) as if you google "my dog ate buffalo wing bones" there are hundreds and hundreds of google questions asking that. The vets there answered the same as my sis said-that more than likely everythings OK (that bones do digest) and just monitor him for 24-48 hrs and take to vet if there's an issue. I can tell you what the X-rays will show-a bunch of bones-and to induce vomiting with all those bones coming up doesn't sound good either (most of the vets answering the google questions said that's the worst thing you can do).If he'd only ate 3 or 4 I wouldn't worry so much-but his belly's gotta be full with 10 of em in there. 4951

My schnauzer ate an entire cheese ball (2 packs of cream cheese, cup of cheddar cheese, rolls in pecans, the works) and did ok. Of course were are no bones in it, but that a lot of cheese to eat at once! 4951

@EbolaRaw / Uncooked Bones are perfectly fine for Canines, my friend, but Cooked Bones can quite  easily splinter, possibly resulting in serious injury or even death........Cooked Bones are a Maj No No!@cadorKeep a close eye on the beautiful Buffalo-Wing-Eatin' Canine of yours....  Please make sure he's drinking plenty of Water, is not running a Temperature ,and is not showing any type of symptoms of Bloat (acting like he's tryin' to yack but cannot)....And like you mentioned, 10 is quite a bit of Cooked Buffalo Wings for your Canine Compadre to ingest, especially considering his size...Just to be on the safe side, I would highly encourage you to seek Professional help for that sweet baby....  A Vet could at least make sure there's no Bones lodged, giving you some peace of mind and Spirit, as well as give that Boy of yours some type of Medication to sooth his tummy....

@cindysthpw: Thx for asking! Been laying on the couch with me all day (been relaxing for me as the golf course gives me very few weekends off) and been fine. Just got in from a walk and he's just as full of energy as always (took a poop-maybe gross for some but I took a stick and didn't find any bones so maybe he chewed them up well) but alil tired now as you can see from the pic.
