And 20 bucks for an oz of any oil is dirt cheap. Take lavender for example. It takes like 27 square feet of correctly seasoned and harvested plants to make a 15 ml bottle of true unadulterated lavendar EO. Thats alot of plants and time for 20 bucks...lol....down right impossible to make it that cheap and be pure.
The upside to that is when its a true unadulterated oil you only need 1 to two drops to do the job. Not 20 or 30 so its actually cheaper to buy the correct oils in the long run and actually get the real benefits.
I forget the exact legal policy but they only have to put about 3 percent real EO in a bottle and the rest can be a carrier oil like coconut and can label it pure but not to ingest. 95 percent of unadulterated oils can be ingested for benefits very safely and are permitted to be labeled as such through FDA under certain labeling. Most EO companies cut corners and dont follow or make true oils and why they are labeled not to ingest. Wintergreen is one you dont want to ingest regardless company. We only carry 5 out of our 300 plus unadulterated oils and unadulterated blends and products with safety caps for this reason of containing wintergreen.
I would be thrilled to sell you an oz of carrier oil for 20 bucks!....but I wouldnt cause Im too honest...lol 4951
