I already have 10 lb clubs. I need heavier clubs. 1 and 2 pound clubs are $50. It cost me about $2 to make the 10 pounders. I can't make heavier with the method I used to make them - filling bats with sand.I use the 10 pound clubs for the large rep motions. I want to make clubs that can go heavier by adding weights, so I can work up to larger weights. The less than 10 pound clubs aren't of use to me.How much do your clubs weigh?Lowes doesn't have 1 inch threads.Online the threaded rod is super expensive. 4951
Meels - Indian Clubs. They look like juggling clubs, but they're longer. In fact, juggling clubs were designed from Indian clubs. They're used to do various exercises that involve swinging the clubs. They are for stretching; strengthening muscles, joints and ligaments; aerobic exercise; and building endurance. 4951
That looks really cool. Â Never heard of that before. Â Watching the video though, I think I would probably clobber myself with them in the middle of that routine. Â They look like bowling pins.
Fastenal doesn't have 1" diameter. They said their stock of threaded rod is "very limited".One benefit of adjustable weight clubs is you can practice the motions with no weight first. Or you can practice the movements with sticks before using the clubs. When I start new movements I tend to stop in mid motion before hitting myself.Meels are shaped as they are so they're hard to grip. That way they help with hand/grip strength too. That's another reason the bats aren't really good. They have good grips and knobs at the ends to stop the hand from slipping. 4951
