I believe wise guys has one thats not really bad, also have a gyro pizza. I got the pizza once it was good but they literally pooled the tjziki sauce or whatever its called onto each slice instead of like dusting it lightly all over the pizza it was weird. 4951

@JerryJustice: I like tzatziki sauce on the side, not pooled or glopped on top. If you "fork it" on the side, you can get just the right mix per bite. Plus, I use it was a dip for the pita. 4951

@JerryJustice: I don't eat a gyro like a sandwich. Some have too much pita etc., and I want that perfect mix bite, not a bite of just bread. Phoenicia, downtown, also adds a red pepper paste (not sure of the name) but it is a tad spicy and amazing!

I can highly recommend this place but it isn't local. It's in the Monistiraki neighborhod of Athens. The name escapes me but there were several dozen spots in this area that all served the best gyro and souvlaki I had while there with my DW.  She'd kill me for putting her pictures here but she's in Florida and doesn't follow this site! Oh, and they had good house made red wine! DW trying to figure out how to get it to her mouthEveryone in the family is a musicianFree entertainment strolling by. Everyone in the family plays something! Lots of local young people so you know it's good and affordable 4951

I think Savvas in Atascocita

@Chrisinkingwood: I have to vouch for theirs, but Wise Guys has moved from frozen M/W yo an actual vertical spit, so next time I am going to try theirs to see if I can shorten the drive to Savvas.
But I make that drive to Savvas once or twice a month for theirs. 4951
