My son who lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, 5 year old son and the twins will be relocating to norther Idaho next month! They have never really liked where they live, I mean they like their home which is very new and nice but they really hate the area, the town nearby and he hasn't been too happy with the job there that he took after the Navy. His DW grew up on a small farm and they have been wanting to be closer to her family that lives on the west side of Puget Sound across from Seattle/.So today they bought a 10 acre farm, has a 3200 sq ft fairly new home, several out buildings, chicken coops and a goat barn and a place to put a bigger barn for a few horses and cows. It's partially forested and some areas are plowed for crops and has a small river running along it. It sounds a bit crazy but I give them credit for following their dreams. They have been doing research and looking at property for over a year. My DS is not one to do anything without planning out thoroughly, that is one thing he got from being an officer in the Navy. He asked me if I was free to come up and help them drive their vehicles across country and I might just do that. I could book a one way to them in PA, get to see my grandkids and help them move and then my DW could fly up to join us for a few days and then we would drive to Seattle to see my DD new baby that should be here by then! And then we fly home from Seattle! And I had just been saying to my DW, "we need to plan to go see the kids this summer!"
