Yesterday, I kept Din-Din quite simple with Grilled Cheese Sammies... (Simple, but dizz-zamn they were righteous if I say so myself.... And I most certainly do!) Anywho, back to tonight, so I knew I needed to step it up this evenin', so I blazed up and threw down a most delightful Tuesday night homemade Taco Salad....Here goes: Using Burrito Size (Large) Tillers (Tortillas), I placed them (one at a time) in my trusty Non-Stick Skillet Pan (which I still sprayed prior with Pam and added a tiny dab of Butter, which using a Basting Brush I distributed the Butter throughout the Pan) and crisped up both sides of each Tiller....Next: Spiced up and mashed (canned) Black Beans with a lil' Salt, freshly Ground Pepper, Garlic Powder, Paprika and Cayenne...Then: Seared up some Ground Beef, seasoned up with Garlic Salt, Paprika, Cumin, Chili Powder, Fajita Seasoning, Basil, Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper, and allowed to simmer in minimal hot water to create a slight sauce, per say....And assembly went like such: Delicious crisp Tiller for the "vessel," topped off with the Black Beans (spread around each Tiller), Ground Beef, assorted shredded Lettuce Mix, shredded Mexican Style Cheeses (HEB Brand) and a dollop of Sour Cream for the hubbs....  It was rather lovely....P.S.- I thought about usin' the Flour Tillers to create homemade Taco Shell Bowls or Chips in the oven, but did not want to heat up the kitchen, and yeah, the stove method worked out quite BUENO!  Â
