So I have bedroom that i use as an office that has two tone walls with a chair rail.  Right now it is painted a khaki color on top and a blue on the bottom.  After moving some furniture out of the room to declutter and give it a more spacious look i noticed the blue needs to be painted and I don't have the color to match.  Anyway so i wanted to get your opinion on what color would look good below the white chair rail with a khaki color on top. I was thinking a caramel or milk chocolate brown paint color?   4951

@foxymamaMy humble opinion, sweet chica, would be to keep it a simple, Neutral shade that compliments the Khaki color that will be stayin'.....

@DanStanton:
I would do the same except I don't have an exact match so I would have to paint the whole room. So to save time and money thinking neutral two tone.

The brown idea would work for an office and long as it doesn't clash with flooring. 4951

Since I always have trouble with color, I once asked a painter how to choose two tone...He told me to pick one of those color cards that goes light to dark and just pick one and then go down two colors for a contrast. So, maybe this would work for you if you could find a color card that has the same khaki color on it... That would be "safe" and staying with a neutral palette. 4951
