If you had to choose a second profession where you worked for yourself, what would it be?

As for me I'm not sure, I have another 20 solid years if i retire at 67. Just not sure what I want to do with the remaining 20 years. I love gardening, interior decorating and real estate. 4951

Music.  It's why I'm working on my chops and writing and playing as often as possible now.  I figure i have 10-15 years to develop enough of a network to move smoothly out of the corporate world into what I really want to do.  Never expect to be either rich or famous, just happy.  4951

Don't know, but I've thought about it.My main thought has been how a CPA skill would be useful outside of being a CPA, and if I could find something I'm more passionate about. Takes an honest self assessment  I think.  4951

Options via the Internet are limitless. In many cases you can set up websites that bring in passive income for years. 4951

Well in paraphrasing they say if you do what you love you'll never work a day.  So my suggestion would be to explore those three things that you mentioned and see which one is the more viable option for making a decent living.  After-all we only live once, there are no do overs. 4951

Thanks, I'm going to call Champions and sign up for the next class, but even when I get my license I'm still working for or under a broker. But I think I could enjoy it, since I can give my 2 cents on buyers who purchase used homes. Help them to see the potential if they're willing to spend a few bucks to make it their own. I really don't want to get back into Corporate America, I've had enough of the political rhetoric ******** to last me a lifetime. 😊 4951

I don't know but since my youngest child graduates next Saturday, it's time to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up. 4951

@bubbleyes72: wouldn't staging homes for sale be fun?????????????????? Real estate is fun but not necessarily just selling it, its the redo I crave. And lately I've become acutely aware of just how many people can NOT pick a counter and back splash that match or coordinate! LOLThere's always hooking. LMAO Emoticon
