@angiekaye: Thanks for reminding me of my childhood days.
We used to do that and run like all get-out if someone stopped.
I remember it being more fun when we let the eggs spoil first.
You know,it takes a week in the sun to really spoil an egg just right?
I know it's not politically correct to say, but it's a whole lot better than having them smoking pot and other things in the woods. 4951

fun

@Safety44:  FUN?  Really?  That is destructive and distracting to drivers.  Eggs eat the paint off your car and who knows if it would hit a windshield some one would be distracted and have an accident.  There is no place for actions like this on a well traveled road.

@Safety44: Personally I would rather they smoke pot in the woods than damage my property. If I saw that going on I'm afraid I would be stopping my car and turning into a mean grandmother.  Did you call the police Angie?  Sorry, but this going way beyond papering a house IMO.

@Andreweggplant: Sorry if I offended you, I agree with you but it's something more freshening to read than the daily local crime report of 5 or 6 arrests, multiple thefts and burglaries, etc. Or the local mornIng news for that matter.
This is something I believe that can more easily be fixed. There aren't many actual teenage angels on earth.
Have a great day.

TP'ng a house is pretty harmless but eggs do cause paint damage if you don't get it off promptly. @safety44 when I was finishing high school I remember some friends out for a ride in the family car after dark and someone thought it would be cool to launch those big M-80 firecrackers out of the car with a slingshot after one of the guys lit the fuse. On the second try the lit M-80 hit the door frame and fell in the back seat where it went off. Luckily no one lost a finger but the car was trashed with gunpowder and smoke and everyone's ears were ringing for a week. 4951

We used to use wet toilet paper to throw at cars. You still get that rush that teenagers seem to constantly be chasing.....but the wet toilet paper comes right off. Using eggs is just really low class. Think about it....you don't know anything about the people you're throwing eggs at. What if you hit someone on the way to the hospital for chemo for their sick child? What if they're on the way to a funeral to bury their spouse?  You just never know.If you're going to throw eggs, at least throw them at your principal's car or someone you actually know.  4951

Some of us do not take kindly to attempts to destroy property, or potentially cause us to veer off the road when getting pelted by eggs.  Not a good idea, at all.  I am still amazed that some parents think it's cute to let their kids run loose at 01:30, or are too aloof or naïve to know it is going on.  I can promise you if it happened to me, there would be no laughter.  And when I got to meet their parents, there would be even less potential for laughter.  4951

I definitely don't think it's cute and did my best to be a good parent, but my adult children confess to me now and I feel like a failure. We were way more involved and strict than a lot of parents. 4951

@MarT: Even children with the best parenting around choose to make stupid decisions. That's how they really learn life lessons. Hopefully these girls will get caught and taught a lesson on respecting the property of others!

I don't care if they smoke pot in the woods.  Not my problem, egging my car is my problem.Full disclosure, I egged cars when I was a kid, and, just like these kids, I deserved an *** whooping for it.Eggs were also cheaper then. 4951

@ForeCPA90: Cheaper, and probably organic too.  Or maybe free range organic!
