Brand new Dodge Journey (fleet).....2015 model.

Four times in the shop due to a bad transmission and a huge water leak against the passenger A pillar.

Took it back three times for them to find there was no sealant against the passenger fender and firewall. A factory error. Short, every time it rained I had three inches of water on the passenger floorboard.

After returned, and after 1300 of fleet rentals they didn't even give me a car wash.

Why I prefer Nissan.

Three trips for the same issue? Time to look into labeling that one a lemon and consider a DTPA claim. Check with your lawyer to see if that applies

Also, sorry, but HUB Hyndai on 290 has some of the worst ratings ever and just might win for the worst dealership around. 4951

Don't have the car anymore. As it was fleet my Co. Just continued to throw money at it until I turned it in. Good riddance IMO.

Further their service department is a joke. From my experience their must be a chart in the employee area instructing their staff how to tie their shoes

Totally 100% agree-my husband has a Dodge Caravan (company car) and he stopped taking it there to get fixed. One time it was a decorative strip that took over a year to come in, another time it was a transmission issue that took 3 times to fix. It was ridiculous!! One hour oil changes turned into all day affairs. He finally went through Wheels and found other service providers. Planet Dodge also lost a sale because of their Service dept. we thought about replacing our 11 year old Jeep- but no way do I want to sit at a dealership all day for service. Ti thought they had changed hands a while back- they went from bad to worse 4951

I think that's just Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat. They continue to have the worst reliability ratings on planet earth

Id rather walk to the the Galleria than have one given to me for free

Oh wait...I had one for free...and every day I wanted to light it on fire lol 4951

@DanStanton:
Our van wasn't that bad- but any kind of service there was horrible. When you have a fleet/ company car you HAVE to get it serviced. Yes he had transmission problems but over all it's a good car. But doing the regular services on it @Texan is the biggest PITA. Many times hub would have to cancel trips because the service dept couldn't get their dodo together.
All is good- it gets turned in this month and hubs chose a Volvo for his next car 4951

@DanStanton: I agree about the place to blame for a bad vehicle. I bought my last two Dodge trucks from Texan Dodge. I went in with a price and walked out with my selection. I've had the latest truck four months and the sales manager still calls to check if all is okay.
I get excellent service at oil changes and luckily I haven't had any issues over the past 4 years.
I was shocked last week though when I received an email from Texan Dodge, telling me my mileage and the oil change was due. The email showed the exact mileage, tire pressure, etc. of the vehicle.
I was in Missouri.

Don't blame the dealership for a bad car.

@DanStanton:

I blame both:

Dodge for producing a substandard product lacking a very visible bonding of body panels at the factory

And...

The dealer for representing their marketable product in a substandard way via authorized service

Its a two fold argument and combined represents their commitment to the consumer market ....which is none

And again...how about a car wash after spending more than a grand? My fleet came back dirtier than when I brought it there.

I try very hard to buy both local and American but I just lack ammo to defend this one. 4951
